Our 6 favourite ways to kick off spring

The 1st March marks the beginning of meteorological and climatological Spring. Given how much we are all willing the season of new beginnings to begin we will be joining the scientists by acknowledging that Spring is officially HERE.

In celebration we have pulled together our list of the best gifts to welcome in this new SPRING season. Whether it be a gift for yourself, or another, below are our picks. We hope you enjoy.

Life drawing + Flowers

Charcoal Artclub has teamed up with Worm London to create a very special drawing session indeed. As well as drawing a life model there will be gorgeous florals involved too. We can personally vouch for what a special treat you are in for. Charcoal sessions really are a joyful form of meditation.

Skill level: must only be able to hold a stick of charcoal.

When: Saturday 13th March from 10 am for 2 hours, special drawing and floral treats will arrive in advance. More info and tickets over @charcoalartclub

Bloom magazine

A beautiful, inspiring publication that is packed with seasonal projects, practical advice and thought-provoking stories about nature and a celebration of all things green. Published for Spring, Summer and Autumn an annual subscription costs £26 and if that loved one is really far away they offer international shipping too. The Spring edition is out now and includes an inside scoop on growing British blooms from the flower farmers themselves, how to tempt birds into the garden and grow shop-stopping dahlia’s

KANKAN x Rebel Rebel

We have joined forces with the gorgeous florist Rebel Rebel to create a limited edition gift set. This includes a KANKAN inspired bouquet and a body wash starter set. One tree will be planted for every set sold making it a truly special gift that keeps on giving.

* Please note this bouquet is available for London delivery only and you have until EOD Friday 5th to enjoy 10% off using the code REBEL_KAN.

Exclusively KANKAN products and gifts are available for UK delivery

Given all these new season blooms, one can never have enough new vases to go around.

For something extra special Charlotte Kidgers custom, made to order vessels are exceptional. Her design practice is led with a hands-on approach of re-processing and transforming industrial waste into sculptural objects. These above are a collaboration she's done with Arcade Collection.

We are also very taken with the work of the design studio UAUPROJECT and their 3d printed vases, the colour and texture is amazing! You can order online and much of the stock is made to order from their studio in Warsaw. Matilda Goad’s planters are exceptionally cheerful too and start from £36

A spring feast

There is no denying that delivery food options have really raised their stakes over these lockdown months. First and foremost we’d always recommend supporting local and luckily we are spoilt for choice on this front. Or take a browse and order with the likes of Dispatch and you could be enjoying your restaurant feast (hopefully) in some spring like weather. Take it up a notch with a few dining additions in the mix such as the gorgeous napkins from the Supernova projects available via The Worshipful
